Liz Faublas (born January 18, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York) is a Haitian-American broadcast journalist. Faublas is currently the anchor of Catholic television news program Currents and producer of "The Other 99 T.Y.M.E.S: Count Your Blessings" on Christian-centered cable television cable channel New Evangelization Television.
Faublas received her Bachelor of Science in Communications from St. John's University. She began her career in journalism at Time Warner working in the media company's NY1 division. From 1996 to 2012, she worked for Bloomberg Television in New York, N.Y. as a producer and fill-in anchor.
Awards and nominations
In 2010 Faublas won a New York Association of Black Journalists award in recognition of her Bloomberg History Makers series. In 2008 she won a New York Association of Black Journalists award in recognition of her Bloomberg News African Americans Making History series
