PhotoFast Co. Ltd. (Chinese: 銀箭資訊股份有限公司 ) is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company with its headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 2003 by Warren Wang, CEO of PhotoFast. PhotoFast was the first company to introduce the world’s first Apple MFi certified external storage solution in 2011, the i-FlashDrive.[1] The product portfolio of PhotoFast consists of Apple accessories, including i-FlashDrive (2011), MemoriesCable (2015), MAX (2015), CR-8800, 4K iReader, CR-8710, iType-C (2016), and storage products such as card readers, memory cards, and SSD (2004 - 2014).

Mr. Warren Wang (Chinese: 王龍文) founded the PhotoFast in 2003, starting its business in consumer electronics industry. From 2004 to 2014, PhotoFast developed and announced own-branded storage products, including memory cards, SSD, card readers, and USB flash drives, etc.
In 2011, PhotoFast launched the i-FlashDrive, and it was the world’s first Apple MFi certified external storage device. PhotoFast has since become one of the most well-known brand for premium Apple accessory. PhotoFast has expanded its market coverage globally, with products selling to over 70 countries worldwide now.

Exhibitions and Awards[edit]

  • In 2013, PhotoFast i-FlashDrive was awarded the Best Innovation Award at DISTREE EMEA’s “60 Seconds to Convince” Competition.[2]
  • In 2014, PhotoFast i-FlashDrive was awarded the Computex Best Choice Award - Golden Award.[3]
  • In 2015, PhotoFast launched MemoryCable at Computex and IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin),[4] and it was awarded the DISTREE Diamond Award at Distress APAC 2015.[5] Same year, PhotoFast Artemis 6 was awarded the Best New Inflight Product Award at Airline Retail Conference (ARC) Asia-Pacific – AR.Awards.[6]
  • In 2016, PhotoFast announced new products MemoriesCable GEN3, CR-8800, and iType-C at CES, Computex, and IFA.[7][8]
    The iType-C was awarded the Golden Award at Taiwan Technology Trends Award Ceremony 2016,[9] and the MemoriesCable was awarded the Best Design & Aesthetic Award at Renowned Gates Summit in India.[10]
  • In late 2016, the iType-C, 4K iReader, and CR-8710 were announced in media events held in Taiwan,[11] Japan,[12] and Singapore.[13]
  • In 2017, PhotoFast launched iType-C, 4K iReader, and CR-8710 at CES.[14]
