Short introduction[edit]

Republic of Gamers is a brand used by Asus since 2006, encompassing a range of computer hardware, personal computers, peripherals, and accessories oriented primarily toward PC gaming. The line includes both desktops and high-spec laptops such as the Asus ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard or the Asus ROG G751JY-DH71 Laptop.

ROG JTR Community Challenge[edit]

Republic of Gamers announced the first ROG Join the Republic Community Challenge at DreamHack Summer 2016, which was held from 18th to 21st June, 2016. It featured eight Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams, each helmed by some of the biggest names in gaming and eSports. Maikel ‘Maikelele’ Bill was the team captain at DreamHack Summer 2016 and selected team members based on their performances in several unique challenges in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. These qualifying challenges were open to players online as well as all onsite visitors at each ROG Join the Republic Community Challenge.
