Salam Islam is a non-profit organization that was established to meet the needs of New Muslims and those who were willing to embrace Islam. This organization launched its first website in 2011 with a simpler design. However, on March 2015, the website went through a redesign, both graphically and content-wise. In this new version six sections are dedicated to short and concise articles covering different topics such as pillars of Islam, practical principles, Islamic lifestyle, issues related to family and women, and the stories of those who have newly convert to Islam. Other parts that was added to this version include: library, Q&A, Gallery, Dua and News and Views.
There are six sections in Salam Islam that include some useful and easy-to-understand articles that deal with issues that a new Muslim might face with.
Some common practices of a Muslim are explained in this section, such as : Prayer (Salat)
